SAVANNAH, Mo. - The University of Missouri Extension is hosting a three-night workshop for farm and small business owners interested in succession, estate, and retirement planning.
The "Your Farm, Your Business, Your Future" program will have a team of extension specialists to help create a plan to transfer a farm or business to the next generation.
The program will be held Feb. 4, 11, and 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Workshops will be held at Sisters of St. Francis in Savannah, the Main Courthouse Basement in Bethany, and the Forage Systems Research Farm in Linneus.
Pre-registration is required by noon on Feb. 3. There is a cost to attend, but a light dinner is provided for each night. For more information, you can call Joe Koenen at 660-947-2705.
